Registration is only open until February 28th!
The Canadian Urban Library Council (CULC) has created another opportunity for all Canadian public libraries to participate in a Canada-wide bilingual digital reading program.
We have officially launched this year’s pick The Break/Ligne brisée by Katherena Vermette, published by House of Anansi in English and by Québec Amérique in French.
Join us for the month of April where we will have unlimited access to the ebook and audiobook with no holds or waitlists! The book will be available in ebook and digital audio in English and as an ebook in French across platforms (Overdrive, cloudLibrary, hoopla, Cantook Station, Prêt numérique) with simultaneous access during the program at a cost of only $0.35 / borrow.
For those libraries that have already signed up, please feel free to publicize the title. Work has begun on our marketing assets and expect those to be ready next week.
Twitter plays an increased role in social impact, conversation, and fast distribution. With that said, One eRead Canada / Un livrel Canada is now on Twitter. We encourage you to follow the account @1eRead_unLivrel. We’re currently in the process of preparing posts for tweeting, and we hope that your library will retweet some of the content. With the click of a button the tweet shared to your own networks will help multiply the reach of digital book club exponentially.
We are also working on a reel that has libraries passing the book across the country.
Don’t miss out on your opportunity to take part in this year’s One eRead / Un Livrel Canada.
Fill in the online form by February 28th to indicate your library’s participation. Please only have one person from your library register. This person will be responsible for sharing the information across your system.
